Flat Tire Change on the Dallas North Tollway Shoulder or Your Prosper Driveway
Flat tire change from Road Angel gets you moving again on a Dallas North Tollway shoulder, on US 380, or in your own driveway.
A typical flat tire change goes like this:
- Remove the flat.
- Mount your spare.
- Check lug torque, meaning the lug nuts are tightened to the right force so the wheel stays secure.
- Check the spare's air pressure.
Then you drive on. Mobile tire change is covered on the same visit when you have a usable spare but no safe place or tools to do the job yourself. If the spare does the job, you don't need a tow.
A Tollway shoulder is a risky spot to work, so please don't try the change yourself there. Get to a safe spot first if you can. If anyone is hurt or the car is in a traffic lane, call 911 before you call us. Once you're stopped, stay in the car with your belt on and hazards on, and let the technician set up. Texas Move Over/Slow Down law requires passing drivers to change lanes or slow down for stopped emergency vehicles, tow trucks and certain other vehicles using their lights, which helps protect the work zone.
